By downloading, installing, or using MatchRoom Golf (“MatchRoom,” “the app,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
MatchRoom is a golf wagering companion that helps groups of friends organize, track, and settle friendly wagers during their rounds. These terms govern your use of the app and its features.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MatchRoom. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
MatchRoom’s wagering features are designed for entertainment and scorekeeping among friends. MatchRoom is not a gambling platform. We do not facilitate real-money gambling, process wager payments, hold funds, or take a cut of any wager. All settlements between players happen outside the app and are entirely between the participants. You are responsible for complying with any local laws that may apply to friendly wagers in your area.
MatchRoom identifies you by your device and the display name you choose. Phone verification is optional and enables features like friend discovery and verified badges.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your device or account. Do not impersonate other players, create misleading profiles, or share your account credentials with others.
MatchRoom offers a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited rounds, all wager types, and full press logic. Two plans are available:
Both plans include a 7-day free trial. Your free trial converts to a paid subscription only if you do not cancel within the first 7 days.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → select MatchRoom Golf.
Pricing is subject to change. If we change pricing, we will provide notice through the app before the change takes effect. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
You agree to use MatchRoom in good faith and in a manner consistent with its intended purpose. You may not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation.
The MatchRoom name, logo, design, code, and all associated content are the property of MatchRoom Golf and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the app without our written permission.
You retain ownership of your gameplay data (scores, round history, and statistics). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this data as needed to provide the service.
MatchRoom is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
MatchRoom is a scorekeeping and tracking tool. We are not responsible for disputes between players regarding wagers, payouts, or any other matter arising from your use of the app. All wagers are private arrangements between participants.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. While we strive for reliability, real-time syncing depends on network conditions and device capabilities outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchRoom Golf and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages related to wagers or disputes between players.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
The “Effective” date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last revised.
