MatchRoom Golf (“MatchRoom,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a mobile application that helps golfers organize and track friendly wagers during their rounds. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can manage your data.
By using MatchRoom, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We collect only the data necessary to provide MatchRoom’s core functionality:

| Gameplay data | Scores, wager types, wager amounts, press bets, round results, course selections, and round history. |
| Contacts (hashed) | If you grant contacts permission, we hash phone numbers from your address book on-device to find friends already using MatchRoom. Raw contact data never leaves your device. |
| Coarse location | Used to show golf courses near you in the course selection screen. Requested only with your permission and processed on-device. Not stored on our servers. |
| Purchase history | Subscription status and transaction identifiers managed through Apple’s in-app purchase system and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment method details. |

MatchRoom uses the following third-party services to operate. Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies:
We do not share your personal data with any third-party AI services, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.
Round data and player profiles are stored in Firebase Realtime Database, which uses encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Firebase security rules restrict data access so that only authenticated participants in a round can read or write that round’s data.
Local data (your device ID, display name, and round history) is stored on your device using encrypted local storage. This data remains on your device unless you participate in a synced multiplayer round.
We retain your gameplay data for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@matchroomgolf.com. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete your Firebase account, associated round data, and any server-side records within 30 days. Local data on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

MatchRoom is not directed at children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17 years of age. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 17, we will delete that data promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@matchroomgolf.com.
MatchRoom does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use Apple’s IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers). We do not display advertisements. We do not participate in any advertising networks or data exchanges.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. The “Effective” date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
